Remembering Helen
“A memorial park with trees”
Michael found Mornington Green after reading about us in the paper. She knew quite quickly that she wanted to make a call.
She was looking for somewhere to hold a memorial for Helen, but she didn’t want a traditional cemetery.
When Michael came to Mornington Green, she immediately connected with the environment. The gardens, trees and open space felt like the right place for Helen.
She also knew that Helen would not have wanted to be in a cemetery.
For Michael, Mornington Green felt different. It was a place where Helen could be remembered among trees and nature, rather than surrounded by traditional cemetery graves.
“I see it as a memorial park with trees.”
