0:50 Emily & Kevin
Emely had seen Mornington Green advertised on social media a few times before her dad passed away. She liked the idea so much that she had already mentioned to Kevin that it was something she would consider for herself one day.
Her dad had been dealing with heart issues for a long time, and eventually Emely spoke to him about Mornington Green. He was very excited about the idea. He loved the thought that he could become a tree and continue on through it.
When her dad passed away, Emely started looking more closely at Mornington Green for him. It felt like the right choice for their family.
For Emely and Kevin, the idea was simple but meaningful. Someone they loved could continue through a tree, creating a living connection to him.
Now, they can sit together in front of her dad’s tree and remember him in a place that feels connected to nature and to the life he continues through the tree.

After her diagnosis, Jackie started thinking about how she wanted to plan for the end of her life. She wanted to make those decisions ahead of time and find something that felt positive to her.
What appealed to Jackie about Mornington Green was the idea of becoming part of something living. Knowing that she could help a tree grow and that the tree would be cared for gave her a sense of satisfaction.
She also liked that it was different from a traditional graveyard. For Jackie, the peaceful natural setting made the idea of planning for the end of life feel less confronting.
The cost was another consideration. After comparing it with the cost of a traditional funeral, Jackie felt that it was reasonable and acceptable.
Ultimately, Jackie found comfort in knowing that she had made her choice and that her Living Legacy would give her a peaceful place while helping a tree continue to grow.
