From the moment Amy arrived, she felt supported by the Mornington Green team. She appreciated how everyone was involved throughout the ceremony, working together to make the experience smooth and meaningful.

Kim’s passing was sudden, and for Liwanen, it still felt like it had only happened yesterday. It was a difficult and emotional time, but she understood that this was part of life and something that had to be faced.
The ceremony at Mornington Green was a smooth and straightforward process. Having such a supportive team made everything easier for Liwanen during a difficult time.
What stood out to her was how different the experience felt from a traditional funeral. Instead of feeling dark or gothic, Mornington Green felt lively and full of life. It created a different kind of atmosphere while still providing a meaningful place to lay Kim to rest.
For Liwanen, knowing that Kim would be laid to rest alongside a tree made the choice feel right. She believes he would have loved the place and would have been happy with what they chose for him.

When we first came here, we weren’t really sure what to expect. We had been thinking about traditional funerals and memorials, but we didn’t know what the right way would be for us to say goodbye to Mum.
From the moment we walked through the door, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and the care and accommodation we received was something we hadn’t expected.
The ceremony itself was beautiful. Returning Mum’s ashes to the earth felt like such a meaningful way to honour her. We were able to place some of her ashes and soil into her final resting place, making the ceremony feel very personal and connected to the earth.
What made the experience even more special was that all of the grandchildren were able to take part in the process. Everyone was included, and it gave the whole family a chance to be part of Mum’s final farewell.
We came not knowing what to expect, but what we experienced was something completely unexpected and incredibly meaningful.
